I’m back!!

Hi eveyone !

Et oui cela fait un bail que je ne vous avais pas écrit ! Disons que côté perso, cette année a été chargée pour moi, j’ai enchainé nouveau job + déménagement, d’où ma longue absence sur ce blog. En tous cas je remercie tous ceux qui m’ont contacté pour prendre de mes nouvelles, et ne vous inquiétez pas, je vais bien !

I know, it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me ! Let’s say that this year, I had a lot of changing in my personal life: new job, new home ….I really like to thank all the people who send me very kind messages to get some news but don’t worry, I’m fine !

Tropical Tunic – Kit Wool & the gang

Pour cette reprise, j’avais envie de partager avec vous mon projet tricot de l’été, (que vous avez sûrement vu sur mon compte Instagram): ma tunique Wool and the Gang! (j’ai profité d’une offre à -35% ;-)).

For my come-back, I wanted to share with you my summer project (that you may have seen on Instagram): ma Wool and the Gang Tunic ( at 35% off ;-))

Un projet tricot très rapide, le coton de Wool & the gang est toujours aussi doux, par contre il est tricoté en double donc autant dire qu’elle pèse la tunique!! Je ne vous raconte pas le jour ou je vais devoir la faire sécher…

A very fast knitting project, Wool and the Gang Cotton is really soft, but the yarn was held in double , so….this is really heavy!! And I don’t even want to think how long it will takes to dry it….

Et voilà c’était mon projet de l’été, à très bientôt pour d’autres partages !!

J’avais complètement craqué sur ce pull cet hiver, mais je me refusais à payer 200€ probablement pour de l’acrylique, du coup un soir j’en parle à ma copine qui me dit: « Ben pourquoi tu ne te le tricote pas? la construction a l’air toute simple, alors arrête de te prendre la tête et fais le! ».

This winter, I wanted so badly this sweater , but I refused to pay 200€ for a probably acrylic sweater so, one day, I spoke about it with my friend who told me: « But why don’t you knit it? the construction seems very simple, so stop complaining about it and just do it!

Ce qui faut savoir, c’est que ma copine, elle tricote souvent des pulls qu’elle invente elle-même, en mode freestyle, sans patron. Alors que moi…ben c’est pas trop mon cas, mais bon, j’ai pris de nouvelles résolutions ici alors autant les appliquer!!

But what you need to know is that my friend, she just knits sweater that she designs herself without any pattern, a complete freestyler knitter. As for me…well, I’m more a pattern person, but I decided to took new resolutions here, so let’s do it!

Alors voilà, je me suis lancée, et jugez par vous même!

Mon nouveau pull doudou dans un colori parfait pour rompre avec la grisaille!!

My new cocooning sweater in a perfect color to break with the greyness weather.

J’ai trouvé la laine sur etsy un peu par hasard en cherchant de la grosse laine, et j’ai tout de suite été attirée par la couleur. J’ai fait test pour trouver le point que j’avais envie d’utiliser pour ce pull tout en côtes. Si vous le voulez, je pourrai essayer de faire un petit tuto.

I found the yarn on etsy a little bit randomly looking for some bulky yarn and I’ve been attracted by the color. I made a swatch to find the right stitch to make this ribbing sweater. If you want, I could try to write a little tutorial about this.

Je voulais volontairement qu’il soit large et hyper confortable, j’ai tout tricoté en pièces détachées (à l’ancienne) puis j’ai cousu le tout, et vous savez quoi, je ne l’ai même pas bloqué 😉

I really wanted this sweater to be large and confortable, I knitted it in separate pieces (the old way) and I sew all parts and you know what? I did no blocking 😉
